Diseños y Mercadotecnia, S.A. de C.V. (DIMER), was established in 1992 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, with the purpose of meeting the EPS needs for the construction industry.

With the intention of incurring in the EPS packaging sector, and focusing on the Maquiladora industry, in 1994 DIMER established an industrial plant in Reynosa, Tam., fully equipped with leading edge technology.

The year 1995 was marked by geographic expansion, DIMER expanded operations to Apodaca N.L. with the intention of increasing market share in the construction and industrial sectors in the Monterrey metropolitan area.

The year 1996 brought the acquisition of state of the art EPS cutting equipment, used to produce custom-cut packaging and in the construction industry for the production of roof tiles and architectural foam.

In March of 1999 we acquired new EPS block production equipment, with a capacity of 25 blocks per hour (for comparative purposes a normal production equipment produces 3 blocks per hour) giving us a solid competitive advantage.

These capital investments have produced market penetration, and made us market leader.

Having increased our customer base, In June 2001 DIMER acquired new Molded EPS equipment, effectively increasing our production capacity by 50%.
